Indian Head Cigar Co. estimates that 100,000 cigars were stolen, with a wholesale value of around $350,000.

If you happen to come across inexplicably large amounts of La Galera cigars for sale at a discount, you should probably alert the authorities. José “Jochy” Blanco, owner of Indian Head Cigar Co., announced today that the Indian Head distribution warehouse in Miami was burglarized on Saturday. He estimates that 100,000 cigars were stolen, with a wholesale value of around $350,000.

“It is with great sadness that we must report a large amount of theft from our distribution center,” Blanco said. “Our hope is that if they are spotted by our large group of retailers, they will report any offers received to purchase these products.”

Stolen cigar brands and products include: La Galera Anemoi, La Galera Fresh Packs, La Instructura Delicado, Sans Pareil Lanceros and all sizes of La Galera in Habano, Connecticut and Maduro wrapper.

Indian Head cigars are made in the Dominican Republic at Blanco’s Tabacalera Palma factory. Blanco also grows tobacco in the Dominican Republic.
