Cigar review: A direct take on this product from General Cigar and Cohiba.I received the cigar gratis from General Cigar for review. As always , how and where I receive the cigar does not impact my subjective thoughts. Try the cigar yourself if you so are inclined.
The basics: Limited release , $29.99 per cigar, a presentation of 10 cigars sell for 299.90. 6.5 x 48 size, Corona Gorda. The cigar has been hanging in my humidor for over 3 months.
Cigar was well made with a medium brown wrapper, solid construction and oily to the touch.
First third had tasty notes of nuts, coffee beans and nougat.
Second third was a mix of cherries, light pepper and hay.
Final third gave me more spice, dark chocolate and a strong nicotine finish.
Final thoughts and overall impression.
Liked the first two thirds, final third was overpowering and not to my liking
