Cigar review:
This past February 2018 I reviewed a blend made by “Cigars by Nicholas J. This is the companion cigar from his company. On his website he deftly explains the how and why he developed these cigars. Here is my view of this offering.

Where and When Smoked: Los Angeles, Ca. 4/2/2018
Appearance/Construction: Light brown wrapper with some greenish overtones. Smooth to the touch with a semi oily feel. Appears well constructed with several small veins. Clean looking cigar.
Flavor/Taste and Aroma: The first third was a very smooth mix of fruit and floral with the clear presence of cherries, oranges and slight lemon. The blend was right in line with a lighter cigar taste.
The second third was again similar to the first with a slightly more floral presence. It was easy on the palate for smokers who want a mellow cigar.
The final third followed the same pattern of the cigar.
Smoking Characteristics: Easy burn, light grey ash and stayed lit throughout the cigar. No battles to keep it going.
Conclusion/Overall Impression: A light cigar which gave you enough flavor for a nice change of pace. Nothing wrong with that .
Final Thoughts and the Numbers: It’s good to remember that each cigar should be appreciated for what it does , not what it does not do. I usually do not seek out lighter cigars but once in a while it’s what I do. This is that type of cigar.
