Cigar review: Cohiba Serie M

Advertisements

Cigar news : The confusion still reigns supreme as the United States Courts have ruled against General Cigar in the decades long battle about the Cohiba name and trademark.

The Cuban Cohiba rated as one of most desirable cigars in the business , is mostly unaffordable to the cigar masses.

Cohiba , General Cigar version is pricey too. Here is my take on the Cohiba Reserva M by General Cigar.

Attractive wrapper, well constructed and oily to the touch.

First third had an even burn, medium to full bodied, with a very pleasing spice, cashews and maple taste package.

Second third the power became more evident with the spice upping the register with an addition of citrus in the background.

Last third, the cigar became somewhat too strong for my palate , but that should not be a detriment for most smokers. I like full bodied cigars but perhaps this blend needed some additional time in the humidor.

Overall I rate it a 4.0 out of 5.

Keep smoking
