Black Label Trading Co. is celebrating five years of its limited-edition Bishops Blend line by reintroducing two sizes that will be arriving at select retailers later this week: Corona Larga and Robusto.

Although Bishops Blend has been rolled in different sizes over the brand’s five-year history, this year’s cigars are the same sizes as the original release: The Corona Larga measures 6 ¼ inches by 46 ring gauge ($11.50), while the shorter, squatter Robusto is 5 by 48 ($11.00). Both will ship in 20-count boxes and the production run is limited to 450 boxes of each vitola.

Made at the Fabrica Oveja Negra factory in Estelí, Nicaragua, Bishops Blend 5 Year Anniversary consists of an Ecuador Habano Maduro wrapper, Ecuador Habano binder and a mix of Nicaraguan, Connecticut broadleaf and Pennsylvania broadleaf filler tobaccos.

The artwork for the cigar boxes is slightly modified to reflect the anniversary, with a cross and the number “5” emblazoned on the lid.

Fifty of the 900 boxes are going to Germany for the first time as part of a distribution deal with K. Kleinlagel Zigarrenfabrik.

Black Label Trading Co. cigars and the Oveja Negra factory are owned by husband-and-wife team James and Angela Brown, who opened the factory in 2015.
