Undercrown Dojo Dogma was conceived out of the ongoing fellowship between Drew Estate and Cigar Dojo’s online community. The original Maduro-wrapped Undercrown Dojo Dogma was released in 2014 to mass fanfare in celebration of Cigar Dojo’s one year anniversary. In 2017, the Undercrown Sun Grown was named Cigar of the Year by Cigar Dojo. This new unique box-pressed size will mark the next chapter in the Dojo Dogma story, according to Drew Estate.

Undercrown Dojo Dogma Sun Grown is described as a 5 x 54 box pressed robusto that was worked on by Drew Estate’s master blender Willy Herrera and Cigar Dojo’s Eric Guttormson, with the aim of crafting a cigar with a bold profile. The Sun Grown Dogma features an Ecuadorian Sumatra seed, Sun Grown capa, with Connecticut River Valley Stalk Cut and Cured Sun Grown Habano binder, with complimenting, powerhouse blend of Nicaraguan premium fillers. One leaf of extensively aged Ligero from Nueva Segovia region along the border of Honduras has been selected for this cigar to enhance its strength. It’s packaged in 24-count wooden boxes, featuring the dual emblems of Undercrown and the Cigar Dojo community. MSRP per box is $244.80 with an expected ship date of August 2020.

In addition, Drew Estate will also be launching the 2020 edition of Undercrown Dojo Dogma Maduro. Similar to the Undercrown Corona Viva, the Undercrown Dojo Dogma Maduro features a Mexican San Andres wrapper, Connecticut Stalk Cut Habano binder, and filler leaves from Nicaragua and Brazil. The 6 x 56 Dogma is box pressed and packaged in a 10-count petaca. MSRP per petaca is $107.87 with an an expected ship date of September.
