Cigar news: The ones I liked the best.

It’s the time of the season where every cigar blogger, cigar magazine, cigar site and cigar expert tout their top cigars of the year.

The list might be 20-25 smokes with all the adjectives that pronounce how great the cigar was .

My approach is somewhat different so please pay attention.

I list favorite smokes for the year which is of course 2019. They are not ranked with any number from top to bottom or vice versa. I already reviewed them sometime this year.

Your job is to take a look at the list and if you are intrigued , go to the review and read it. Some of the responsibility must go to the reader. I would like to get feedback from you about what I said about the cigar and whether you agree or disagree about the review.

I smoke a fair amount of cigars but it is not as exhaustive as some other reviewers. I may not have access to everything they smoke, or often don’t have the time to smoke as many as they do. Please do read what they say and maybe you can clue me in about what makes that cigar so top of the line.

I do smoke Cubans but do not include them in my favorite list of the year. They are in their own special niche so I don’t put them on the list.

Some of the cigars on my list may have been released earlier than 2019 but due to circumstance , I did not smoke them in their release date. The cigars in question have been smoked this year .

It’s pretty straightforward. My subjective opinion about what I liked. Hope you get some insight about a particular cigar. Please follow up with any questions you may have or if you think I have no idea what I am talking about.
