Lifestyle: A double event happened on this day , different years and both important in the long, strange trip of life.
First the good one. Mandi the dog came from a rescue shelter and has influenced my life in just about every way. Her joy, her love, her spirit is always present.
Coming home from work, or an event and seeing how happy she is in greeting me, makes it impossible not to feel her energy , her intensity , and the zest for the moment . She is focused on getting pets, belly rubs and in turn licks to my face. What a great moment this is. It’s been this way for 5 years now and looking forward to many more years of this.

As for the other event, now two years in the past, is the leg injury which put me on the shelf for almost a year. An injury or illness makes the world stop as you knew it but with a positive attitude, sheer work and some help from your friends, it gets better.
Overall , as with everything, you get what you need.
