Product review: Everyone on the planet owns at least 3 Zippo lighters. My total is 6.
The problem was for the most part, Zippo’s were not a good choice for cigar smokers. You need a butane torch for cigars and while Zippo made several attempts in the past, none of them were satisfactory.
Their newest products are built in a variety of styles and fit most of their cases.
As they state:

It’s not that I don’t own enough lighters but most guys who indulge in cigars can never get enough accessories . Cutters, lighters, cigar cases are made with these folks in mind.
I read an article in Cigar Aficionado magazine about this new Zippo product and it enticed me to buy one of the models. There are three different models available and I made the dual torch burner my choice.
I have used inserts before from another company but it was a single torch. I plunked down my cash and just received it.
As always, how and where I receive a product does not impact my subjective judgment.

Blow by blow description:
I tried a case given to me by a friend in 1997. As you know, Zippo’s are pretty indestructible.
The butane fill had no issue but I do wish there was a visible fill line so it gives you are given a better indication of what is happening. Saves fuel that way. You need a small screwdriver or another tool to turn the butane flame up or down.
The insert fit in snuggly in the Zippo with no struggle . As they stated the insert does not work with the Slim version. I do have two lighters of that type and they were not designed for those shapes.
I rapidly engaged the ignitor 10 straight times and it performed as expected.
The flame was true, no flair ups or any problems with controlling it.
I ignited the lighter 3/4 more times and it was perfect.

If you are a fan of Zippo lighters and who is not? This is a worthy accessory to have. It gives you another toy to play with.
I would imagine the insert will work for some time before you might have a problem . They are inexpensive enough where you might buy another one or two to put in your other Zippos.
