Cigar news : This is a cigar that probably is under the radar for most cigar smokers. It’s a brand that has been around this the 19th century and I have been smoking them in one form or another for many years.
Bought a box of them from Cigar Page several months ago and been smoking the War Hawk steadily since.
The shape I have been smoking is the Corona.
1. Good easy start with a mix of chocolate , orange peel, nuts and maple.
2. Throughout the cigar was a steady presence of pepper but not overpowering which helped give the smoke a nice blend of sweet and spice.
3.The smoke was smooth , well made with no problems with construction, relights or issues of being too tight to smoke. Grey ash was showing beautifully.
4. What I like about this cigar was there were no surprises , just a good , well made smoke .
5. Overall , a great value, full of flavor. Not a robust cigar but I advise that you make it a point to smoke a couple and decide yourself.

Value and taste. A great combination
