Cigar news: Another cold, wet day in Los Angeles which means a cigar is needed to pass the time of day. The New World by AJ Fernandez is a quality cigar wrapped in a Nicaragua wrapper, binder of Jalapa leaves and with filler of Ometepe, Condega, and Esteli tobacco.
I smoked the Belicoso 5 x 55 and it was a quality cigar.
Dark, full bodied with a chocolate, nut and citrus trio. Not overpowering but it was a strong smoke.
About 1.5 hours of enjoyment. As it smoked the coffee essence made it’s felt. I would smoke this again and again and not be bored.
