Cigar review: CAO Fasa Sombra

Cigar reviews:

Sometimes a cigar doesn’t work for the smoker. The reasons can be many or even a few.  Myself and a fellow cigar smoker both tried the Fasa Sombra released by General Cigar.

It’s good to smoke a new release with a friend for a variety of reasons. They may have a different perspective on the blend or maybe in total agreement. I sometimes do this with a seasoned cigar smoker to get another take.

Here are our thoughts. My friend’s cigar burned very poorly, with several construction issues. It did not stay lit, burned unevenly and the battle to smoke the cigar was too much.

My cigar burned without any problem , but had  very little taste or complexity. It was smooth to  be sure, but without any character. I smoked about half of it and gave up.

I have another one to try but will wait until Fasa Sombra has a chance to spend time in my humidor.

Grade incomplete.

Keep smoking
