Mario, a Master Cuban cigar roller was born and raised in Havana Cuba, where he mastered the art of rolling premium cigars at the famed Romeo y Julieta cigar factory in Havana before moving to Dallas.
In the US, Mario worked for Rocky Patel, traveling around the country rolling cigars at Rocky Patel events. Mario then went out on his own and now exclusively rolls 3 of his own custom blends at events in Dallas. His three offerings are a mild blend featuring a Connecticut wrapper, a medium blend featuring a Habano wrapper and a full-bodied blend featuring a Maduro wrapper. Mario’s craftsmanship and dedication to cigar making comes through in every cigar he rolls. He buys all of his top quality tobaccos in either Miami or Tampa Florida and sources it from the Dominican Republic, Honduras and Nicaragua. It’s an amazing experience seeing your cigar get rolled in front of you by a master Cuban cigar roller and is a steal at just $10/cigar, getting a custom blended cigar rolled by someone from the historic Romeo y Julieta factory!
Mario’s favorite cigars other than his own include Padron or My Father for Nicaraguan, CAO for Honduran and Arturo Fuente for Dominican. His favorite Cuban cigar is his own Romeo y Julieta Robusto but also loves the Cohiba Robusto.
